SkyTwin – a revolutionary combination of a roller shutter and screen
At a time when attention to energy efficiency and indoor comfort are becoming a priority for investors, Aluprof is introducing the innovative SkyTwin system, which will revolutionise the existing approach to solar protection.
SkyTwin is the first solution on the market combining an external roller shutter and a screen-type sunshade in a single product. This compact integration has created a high-tech system that provides excellent thermal insulation throughout the year of use, while generating significant savings in heating and cooling. The product has been developed with energy-efficient construction in mind, so its design has been fully adapted for built-in use. This makes the system ideal for installation in new or in existing buildings, once the necessary changes have been made to the lintel.
Due to the use of the ZIP screen, the product can also function as an insect screen, protecting interiors from insects.
Key features of the system:
- Common box, 180×260 mm in size, made of bent aluminium sheet.
- Two independently operating drives.
- A range of bracket sizes available, allowing finishing with any material.
- A common two-part guide channel, ensuring a seamless interaction between the roller shutter curtain and the screen fabric.
- Components common to Aluprof's external roller shutter and SkyRoll screen systems, allowing for stock optimisation.
- A wide range of profiles and rich colours.
