SKB STYROTERM VENTI – solution for ventilated façades and clinker constructions

Aluprof has enriched its innovative SKB STYROTERM top-mounted roller shutter system with a variant suitable for installation in ventilated façades and clinker constructions.

Contemporary construction is extremely enthusiastic about using this type of façade technology mainly because of its properties. Ventilated façades allow the walls to 'breathe', which has a positive effect on the thermal insulation of the building. During hot days, the wall structure protects against overheating, while in winter it prevents dampness. In addition there are various finishing materials that can be used such as composite panels, glass, stone, ceramics and much more. The use of SKB STYROTERM top-mounted roller shutter system boxes in this type of solution offers a number of advantages. The most important is free air circulation. In addition, the system does not interfere into the supporting structures of the façade. What's more, the box in the SKB/K system is smaller in size than the basic variant giving more options of the external façade layer to be finished while keeping the same capacity of the box.

It is important to note that the product can be used in both new and retrofitted buildings. It should be noted that the roller shutter box is made of high-quality material with very good thermal properties. In the case of non-ventilated walls, there is the option of fitting an aluminium face profile, which is ideal as a support for the installation of the external insulation layer. Two revision options are available: from the inside or the outside of the room. Roller shutters in the SKB/K system can be fitted with the MKT insect screen, as well as the MPH, due to dedicated guide channels.
