Opoterm Plus – variant of the top-mounted system with an increased thermal insulation

In order to meet the expectations of more demanding projects, Aluprof has introduced to the offer a new, increased version of thermal insulation OC+ for a top-mounted roller shutter system SKT OPOTERM.

The introduced changes made the roller shutter box highly insulated, which was confirmed by tests carried out in the renowned IFT Rosenheim research centre.  For example, a Usb=0.59 W/m2K coefficient was obtained for a 230/210 roller shutter box, and a Usb=0.66 W/m2K coefficient was obtained for a 255/240 roller shutter box. The new insulation is characterized by easy and comfortable installation and very good stability.

Top-mounted roller shutter systems are one of the most popular solutions in recent years, used not only in single-family buildings. It becomes a common practice that already at the stage of designing a new building or during the thermomodernization of an existing building, the architect takes into account the possibility of using this type of sun screens. This is mainly due to the fact that, in addition to the protective function, roller shutters significantly reduce heat loss, while at the same time reducing energy expenditure. This allows the investor to save a lot of money. What is more, external roller shutters protect our privacy against unwanted eyes and can act as a deterrent to a potential burglar. Thanks to this, we can feel at ease and safe in our home.
