SkyRoll – new screen system from Aluprof
The beginning of 2021 will be a time of novelties for ALUPROF. The long-awaited SkyRoll sunshade system will be launched on the market – a solution that is modern, functional and technically well thought-out in every detail.
Screens are very functional solutions and are widely used in public buildings as well as in residential construction. The main advantage of this type of product is the protection of rooms from intense sunlight through the use of specialised technical fabrics. In addition, they protect the interior from the gaze of unwanted people while maintaining good visibility to the outside. These solutions also provide an effective optical barrier to light entering the room, minimising the glare effect that can occur on monitor screens. Owing to well selected fabric they also constitute a stylish addition that gives a unique character to any interior. It is worth remembering that a properly selected screen system can additionally act as an insect screen, effectively protecting rooms against insects. Aluprof offers three screen systems: SkyRoll Zip, SkyRol Classic and SkyRoll Eco, which differ mainly in the design of the details.
Maximum sealing
SkyRoll ZIP system is a latest generation product designed for shading rooms with large glass surfaces. It is highly innovative due to the use of technology borrowed from the zipper mechanism on the edges of the fabric. The specially designed two-part guide channels are thus directly integrated into the fabric, which guarantees maximum sealing and protection of the interior against insects. In addition, the solution used here ensures that the fabric is sufficiently taut and stable in the guide channel, which protects it especially against gusty winds. The product is available in adaptive, under plaster and top-mounted versions. Depending on the selected product option, the offer includes construction elements made of aluminium sheet, PVC or extruded aluminium. The use of the latter material ensures durability and strength over many years of use and, in addition, makes it possible to varnish it in any colour from the RAL palette and match the covering to the window joinery or building façade. Unlike other products of this type available on the market, the SkyRoll Zip has been fitted with a telescopic cap, which ensures simple and quick installation, removal of the system and collision-free service access.
Classic form
SkyRoll Classic is the most popular system in the family of screen type sunshades, which is intended for use both in public buildings and in modern housing construction. This product perfectly reduces solar radiation without sacrificing natural daylight, providing optimal protection against excessive heat gain. In this system there is no direct integration of the fabric with the guide channel. The sunshade is available in adaptive, under plaster and top-mounted versions. Depending on the selected product option, the offer includes construction elements made of aluminium sheet, PVC or extruded aluminium and are mainly adopted from the SkyRoll Zip system. This is extremely important for manufacturers as it allows the use of most components such as guide channels, round reel or bottom list and thus optimises stock levels. This solution is also equipped with a telescopic cap for the round reel, providing installers with quick assembly and disassembly of the system and non-invasive service access. Economical alternative
SkyRoll Eco is a low-budget solution created for less demanding investors. This product is ideal for buildings that need permanent sun protection, as well as on balconies, gazebos and pergolas. A characteristic feature of the roller blind is its manual control using a spring system. An intuitive AluClick mechanism for convenient opening and closing is used here, which makes the use of the blind very simple and does not require a lot of effort. When closing it is enough to gently close the bottom endslat of the blind. The product is available in adaptive and under plaster version. Depending on the selected product option, the offer includes construction elements made of aluminium sheet, PVC or extruded aluminium. SkyRoll ECO has a dedicated guide channel that is integrated into the fabric, further protecting the interior from insects. The bottom bar has been adapted from the MKT insect screen system, which allows for stock optimisation. Due to the use of a telescopic cap in the round reel, the assembly and disassembly of the blind is very quick and easy, which is important for possible servicing. As in the case of ZIP and CLASSIC versions, this cap can also be used for blinds with SW40 reel or, due to adapters, also for SW50 and SW6 versions.
