Aluprof roller shutters are classified RC3 burglary-resistant to PN-EN 1627:2011. This means that the roller shutter can withstand for 20 minutes a burglar who uses handheld tools like hacksaw, crowbar, metal hammer or hand drill.
For a roller shutter to be classified burglary-resistant, it has to have an appropriate structure and security devices, and a certificate issued by an accredited laboratory that confirms its burglary resistance class. In this type of product, individual elements, i.a. channels,have special reinforcement, which prevents deflecting and pulling out the roller shutter profiles. In addition, the resistant structure of the curtain prevents any impact-induced damage of the roller shutter. In addition, the latch mechanism mounted in the bottom part of the shutter prevents the raising of the roller shutter’s curtain, which ensures an effective protection of our home. Rollers shutters are made of aluminium, and are thus lightweight, weather resistant and easy to maintain.
What’s more, external roller shutters, in addition to providing security, protect residents from noise coming from the outside, from overheating in the summer, and also provide privacy. They prevent passers-by and neighbours from watching what’s going on at home.
