Aluprof is focused on the development of the top-mounted roller shutter system OPOTERM

The top-mounted roller shutters are still one of the most popular solutions which is most willingly offered to investors to be used in the new building industry by window frames fitters. This is mainly due to the fact that the installation of this type of products is relatively quick and easy, as it consists in the direct mounting of the roller shutter box on the window frame using an appropriately selected adaptive profile, compatible with the profile of the window frame. Therefore, observing the constantly growing interest in this category of systems, Aluprof SA for several years has been focusing its efforts on the development of one of its leading products – the SKT Opoterm system.

SKT Opoterm is a very universal and versatile product that allows for installation without casing, with partial or complete casing, because the front of the shutter box is at the same time a base for any finishing material (e.g. polystyrene, plaster, clinker, etc.), thanks to which it remains an unnoticeable element of the façade. However, not all countries have similar building technologies.  Mainly to meet the needs of the French market, there was a need to develop new options for this system. This has led to the design of the SKT Opoterm Reno and SKT Opoterm Monoblock. The first variant was developed due to the fact that it is very common to use old frames that are not dismantled during renovation, as they often form a load-bearing element of the building structure. In this case the roller shutter box is cut in the shape of the letter "Z", which allows to fit it to all versions of renovation frames available on the market, whose fin size varies from 25 mm up to 110 mm. On the other hand, the SKT Opoterm Monoblock is designed for use in buildings whose walls are insulated from the inside of the room, and the window joinery is installed in the insulation layer and it is necessary to use special window profiles, the so-called monoblocks.  

Moreover, a novelty in the offer of Aluprof SA is the Opoterm Nova variant, in which the location of MKT integrated insect screen directly under the curtain of the roller shutter was changed, which allowed to bring it closer to the window frame.
