Larger gate dimensions in Aluprof systems
Aluprof has again carried out the type-examinations of selected gate systems. The examinations conducted at the Aluprof Research and Innovation Centre in Bielsko-Biała under the supervision of the Institute of Construction Engineering have shown that our solutions allow us to fabricate products with much larger surfaces than it was possible thus far.
Moreover, the tests also confirmed the possibility of making the entire gate surface of the PER 100 gate profile.
The results of the type-examinations are available for the following products:
- BPR industrial gate made of PE100 profiles for a 6000 x 6000 [mm x mm] opening
- BPR industrial gate made of PER100 profiles for a 6000 6000 [mm x mm] opening
- garage gate made of PA77 profiles in PP75D guide channels
Aluprof passed the PCA-ITB audit at the end of November 20016, which results in the extension of cooperation with the Institute of Construction Engineering in the field of type-examinations for rolling gates. As a result, it is possible to perform type-examinations for all types of gates and grilles: garage, industrial and commercial at the Aluprof Research and Innovation Centre in Bielsko-Biała. This is extremely important given the fact that the legislator imposes an obligation on each manufacturer to hold type-examinations confirmed by the notified body for construction products, such as gates, that are placed on the market.
The extension of cooperation enables us to carry out ITT tests for our own needs and our customers under ITB supervision. This solution is extremely comfortable as it reduces waiting time for test results and documents. The important fact is that it enables direct support of customers during test. it is possible to carry out tests in accordance with the PN-EN 13241+A2:2016-10 “Gates -- Product standard, performance characteristics” standard, according to the following research methods at the Research and Innovation Centre:
- PN-EN 12489:2002 Gates - Resistance to water penetration
- PN-EN 12427:2002 Gates - Air permeability
- PN-EN 12444:2002 Gates - Wind load resistance
- PN-EN 12605:2002 Gates - Mechanical aspects
